McClellan Douglas Jr. is a thirty-five year old self-taught artist and photographer born and raised in Columbia SC. He is a sought-after international muralist who's works have taken him all over the U.S. and as far as Hong Kong, China. His most accomplished mediums are oil and acrylic paints. He is adept at mixing brush paints with sprays in his murals to create a realistic soft glow on top of hard edged works not found in other murals. One of his specialties is creating large murals that, when lit under black light, evolve into a living and vibrant carnival of color. He is also experienced in watercolor, inks, clay, ice sculpture, fruit carving and photography. Because he is self-taught he is able to create an urban motif as well as a traditionally refined piece of work. He has an experienced team that include his brother and father, both of whom are accomplished artists. They give him the ability to tackle any project no matter how large. He recently completed the interior of the largest Trampoline park in the world, a forty-thousand square foot refurbished warehouse in New Orleans, L.A.
